A US blog with a similar name to this one, The Infrastructurist, has a map of the officially proposed high-speed rail lines in the USA. However, the map is colour-coded to show how likely construction is. Blue lines “are very unlikely to be built in the next few decades”. The confirmed projects amount to much less than the maps presented by the Obama administration. But that’s no surprise – the funding available would never have covered the cost of that many high-speed lines, anyway.
